Educational and Professional Background:

Ph.D., Mississippi State University, MS, 2020

Adjunct/Visiting Professor, Grand Valley State University, MI, 2016-2018

Biological Scientist III, Florida Fish and Wildlife, 2007-2011

M.S., University of Georgia, GA, 2006

Wildlife Biologist, South Carolina Department of Natural Resources, 2001-2003

Independent Researcher, Southeast Aquatic Research Institute, TN, 1999-2000

B.S., College of Charleston, SC, 1998

Research Interests:

My research focuses on life histories, age and growth, and trophic interactions between fish species. I am particularly interested in examining how ontogenetic diet changes trophic interactions affect growth and life history aspects of endangered species and of sportfish.

Teaching Interests:

I primarily teach the non-majors introductory courses, but also enjoy teaching courses in fish biology.
